Not needing your page to be viewed on an Apple mobile device I'm guessing?

Does not really matter. Not my video 8) It is you tube.

More will see this in IE than will miss the experience in Apple. What blows is lack of flash support for 64bit IE. I like html5 for media.

Yeah crossing fingers that Google will indeed save the web world and release VP8 under a good OSS licence and start using it by default on Youtube when viewed in Chrome. We can only hope, because the last thing we need is another GIF issue. If apple are truly about the open web (as jobs recently claimed) and killing flash, then they will support it too.

VP8 was created to beat .h264 anyway so it makes good business sense to use a superior format which also doesn't require an expensive licence renewal ever year and allows all users to create videos beyond 2016.

I have a dream. ;)
