Javascript

Is there some simple way to assure that javascript is not loaded until (or unless) it is used? I see methodologies out there, but they seem to involve massive libraries....

isn't there an event for when a page is finished loading?

theres a OnLoad event i would think there would be one for finished or something.

if not you could put an object at the end of a page with an onload linked to a JS if statement to check and if used do a document.write to pull in an included to another JS file?

just throwing out an idea i'm still asleep too so if it sounds stupid its cause the lack of coffee
