ImageBeer is the valid XML dataset we now use to manage news and information at:
http://www.adventcode.net
The data model is basicly from a beer bottle label.
It presents options for writing style and cleans up the distracting links in text presentation. A sample is presented with all elements expanded. Soon it will provide an RSS .91 feed that is auto-generated with XSLT.

Just came up with an idea to be able to switch the scope of the data model while still using one data model....

Is this valid xml?

<container_title>Have A <BEER/></container_title>

Can you put singular tags within enclosing tags? I don't know--just caught my attention

A predefined entity relies on the encoding of the machine where as a character relies on document encoding. Because they are the same in this instance is somewhat confusing. You can not use escaped charactors to write XML with but as a result of encoding you may include them as charactor data.
