Doesn't really take "LONG" ones in most cases. The standard ones fit quite well. Wrapped mine in pcv tape. Looks good.

I don't believe RF comes into play here, and really shouldn't, as your not stripping insulation, only separating runs.

ok reboot and nothing shorted out <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif">

I have one last question though. its about the whole in the top in the back of the case where the front fan used to be. would it be better for cooling if i blocked that whole up by covering it with tape, forcing all incoming air to come from the front vent/fan or would it be better if air was coming in from both places (blown in the front and just flowing in naturally in the back)?

Also, do those plastic things u use to connect wires have a special name? you know those things that look like thimbles kind of and you twist the wires together w/ them?

You should try to obtain a slight pressurization of the case, by using a rear fan that exhausts at a slightly slower rate than the front fan intakes. This way it creates a balanced environment in the case rather than hot and cold spots.

wo hoo

About fan placement... wouldnt having the hole counteract this? aka air would feed in at a proportional rate to fill in the vacuum in the top area after the lower air has been blown in and then out?

I don't pretend to know the geography of your case, just presenting a goal to attain. Use what you have to it's best, with the above mentioned theorem in mind. It's experimentation on your part, but air must flow "Through" the case (Intake and exhaust fans both.)

weird... if you copy and paste the url to your address bar it will work perfectly... must be a method tripod uses to prevent bandwidth leaching...

Are all your fans on the rear exhaust fans? Are all your fans in the front intake fans? What are their cfm's individually?

Both links worked fine in Opera. :)

Andy, what kind of case is it? It reminds me of a VPR Matrix case which is made by ATX.
