Nice monitor Bob. It is refreshing to see someone who still gets this excited at Xmas. A few years it was over a flash drive as I recall. Who gets more excited you or the grandkids? Merry Christmas, Bob.

Well, I usually get one present -- the grandkids have a 3 foot high pile stuffed under and around the tree, so I suspect they get more excited. But I am looking forward to this. My first plan, lean it against the wall on top of my desk and run it in portrait mode. Landscape is ok for graphics, movies, etc, but for documents, webpages, etc., portrait seems the natural way to go.

I am thinking we only got stuck with landscape mode monitors originally because most of the early pc monitors were tv sets....

this year after years of spoiling everyone else with dimands, video consoles, games and spending over 2 grand on other people i took what i had this year and bought myself a laptop with a broken screen LOL.

what model is it, Red? I have a notebook here -- a Compaq Presario 700 -- that doesn't work but has a good 14" screen....

its a lifebook NSeries. nice little machine but All i need is the inverter but the inverter is built into the damn indicator part so i have to buy the whole part.. only 30 bucks but still pain in the arse lol
