I just bought the Keith Richards talking book biography; "Life" - (read by Johnny Depp) and I want to make a spare copy that I can keep in my car.
Can anybody suggest a good application (preferably freeware) to copy my new CD and keep the format suitable to play in my car player?
Or could/should I just use Windows Media Player, where you have to rip the sound to MP3 or WMA first, and then have it convert the sound back, and burn it to the format suitable for a car player?
Or if it's better splash out and pay for Nero or similar?
TIA

Re: Copy CD's
For coping CD you can use CdBurnerXP or AShampoo Burning Studio that are free.Don wrote:I just bought the Keith Richards talking book biography; "Life" - (read by Johnny Depp) and I want to make a spare copy that I can keep in my car.

There is also Nero Burn Lite, a free edition of Nero Burning Room 10 with limited features but that lets you copy and burning base cd/dvd.Don wrote:Thaks Bob & Black_Codec
I remember now that you have previously had good words to say about DeepBurner.
I think the Pro version looks like just what I need.

Deep burner does a good job. Just remember not to use cd's you can rerecord over. Good for data but many car cd players will not play them.
