Phatch is a simple to use cross-platform GUI Photo Batch Processor which handles all popular image formats and can duplicate (sub)folder hierarchies. Phatch can batch resize, rotate, apply perspective, shadows, rounded corners, ... and more in minutes instead of hours or days if you do it manually. Phatch allows you to use EXIF and IPTC tags for renaming and data stamping. Phatch also supports a console version to batch photos on webservers.

It's built using Python and some common Python libraries which is unlikely to be an issue if you are using OSX or a Linux OS. However despite being a fantasticly powerful language for easily developing graphical multi-platform apps, Windows is still yet to add it to it's default install [any guesses why]. So if on Windows you will need to install the required Libraries if you want it to work. Although somebody has made it easier for users using Windows by putting it all in one package: http://photobatch.wikidot.com/install#toc8
