Virtual CloneDrive

Post by SOD » 11/22/08, 10:07 pm

Virtual CloneDrive works and behaves just like a physical CD/DVD drive, however it exists only virtually.

# Supports all common image formats such as ISO, BIN, CCD
# Supports up to 8 virtual drives at the same time
# Easy to use - just double-click an image file to mount as a drive
# Virtual CloneDrive is freeware, you may use it at no cost

If you are talking about Nero as in the CD burner program
it does not support it. If you already have a program that
accesses .iso .ccd .dvd .bin .img .udf and it supports in an explorer (folder) view then it may not be worth changing. Being new to this type of app I tested it against other applications. This adds virtual drives in the My Computer namespace up to 16 and can remember to mount the namespaces.

The configuration is minimal supports a slew of languages and the app runs smooth tested it on XP.

@Bob You are welcome.
