contents of a listview listbox

Post by hakre » 12/22/07, 6:53 pm

about 5 years ago i had a freeware windows tool that could extract the text of any listview in any windows app. it had a brother that was working with treeviews.

i can not find such a thing any longer. anyone can help? google is absolutely spammed with coding topics these days, it seems that everybody is doing some .net coding and you can forget to search for a five year old tool there. gosh.

any help would be great :D

That's the problem. I don't remember. I knew there was one .exe for listview and another for the treeview (or some other control?!).

I dunno wether it was with copy or extract in the name. I tried to google for:

listview copy
listview get contents
listview copy text
listview get text
list copy

and such but no luck.

I even thought to use some AHK to startover from zero:

But I know such a Tool already exists. Gosh. The Internet is getting much too big ;)

How bout this?

"you can use the tool to copy text directly from anywhere, including drop boxes, application dialogs etc. and get Class and Handle information."
