CAN ANYONE HELP ME!! WITH MY COMPUTER DISPLAY

I need to know about how to add a shell to my startup. window. Where it opens up and shows windows xp startup; " i want that to be the shell. I'd like to have something real cool like a set of steel doors that open up and turn into my desktop screen. Does anyone have any ideas??? :?:

That wouldn't be a shell, more like a start-up screen.
