I have a pair of JVC Binaural headphones that have mics built in so that you can record in the manner that you hear. I wonder if this is accurate since all peoples hearing is different. You have to tweak it to how each ear responds. That said if your hearing/ears are not what they should be and a parametric adjustment is needed the change in octave or even the Q of the frequency would have to be modified it would be hard to hit the right combo of freq and Q for this to sync to the brain....been a long time since I used a parametric eq....I miss mixing music.
