Screw the RIAA - Free music from the Internet Archive

Post by Don_U » 12/03/10, 1:42 pm

Robert Randolph And The Family Band quite the bomb.
"Summertime" Recorded live at the Fasmart Pavilion, Innsbruck. Kinda raw no post but this just jams. RR is crazy good.

Just bring up Internet Archive you'll know what to do.
All kinds of music

If the page you mentioned is a copyright infringement, I really hope they take it down: http://www.archive.org/search.php?query ... 20Pavilion I would be surprised though. I don't think the Internet archive would host illegal material, what makes you think it is?
I answer rhetorical questions for my own enjoyment.

Huh never said it was infringement. There is also a ton of other music there. I just think it was released in the domain. That song now makes me wanna get the CD that it is on. So I ordered it today.

There are so many places the web works well (like the archive) yet often we are bemused and buffeted with examples that don't do the medium justice. Lately for me it is the myth of SEO.

The Internet is the only medium that never really gets to be itself. We barely understand how to use it.

Miight want to look here

http://www.archive.org/details/rrfb2006-05-03_flac

The page supports HTML5 audio the OGG sounds good.

While you are there I humbly submit that anywhere near the front of the stage during the tune "Roll Up" would MELT YOUR FACE.
